Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles (Class A CDL) to transport freight across designated routes
- Conduct pre/post-trip inspections and maintain accurate vehicle maintenance logs
- Coordinate with dispatchers for efficient loading/unloading and delivery timelines
- Ensure compliance with DOT regulations, safety protocols, and company policies
- Document delivery receipts and handle shipment discrepancies professionally
- Maintain clean driving record and adhere to hours-of-service regulations
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years of verifiable commercial driving experience
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and operate loading equipment
- Strong knowledge of DOT regulations and safety procedures
- Excellent time management and route planning skills
- Ability to pass pre-employment drug screening and background check
- Must be at least 23 years old with valid DOT medical card
