Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles (Class A CDL required) for regional and long-haul routes
- Load/unload cargo with proper equipment and safety protocols
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and electronic logging system (ELD)
- Perform pre/post-trip inspections and report maintenance needs
- Adhere to DOT regulations and company safety standards
- Communicate with dispatch team and customers regarding delivery status
- Manage time efficiently to meet tight delivery deadlines
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
- Minimum 2 years verifiable tractor-trailer experience
- Clean driving record (no major violations in past 3 years)
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Familiarity with ELD systems and route planning software
- Strong work ethic and punctuality
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally
- Willingness to work flexible hours including weekends
