Responsibilities
- Safely operate dump trucks and heavy equipment for material transport
- Conduct pre-trip inspections and maintain accurate vehicle logs
- Adhere strictly to OSHA and DOT safety regulations
- Load/unload construction materials at job sites
- Coordinate with dispatch team for efficient route planning
- Maintain clean and compliant vehicles per company standards
- Assist in training new drivers when required
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL with hazmat endorsement (or ability to obtain within 30 days)
- Minimum 2 years commercial driving experience
- Clean MVR with no major violations in past 3 years
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and work in outdoor conditions
- Pass background check and drug screening
- Familiarity with Louisiana roadways and industrial zones
- Basic mechanical troubleshooting knowledge
- Strong communication and time management skills
