Responsibilities
- Safely operate heavy dump trucks on various job sites across Fresno and surrounding areas.
- Load and unload materials (sand, gravel, asphalt, dirt) using proper safety protocols.
- Perform thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and compliance.
- Maintain a clean driving record and adhere to all DOT and company safety regulations.
- Communicate effectively with site supervisors and dispatch regarding load status and location.
- Operate truck controls and accessories smoothly to ensure efficient transport of materials.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or Class B CDL (Commercial Driver’s License) required.
- Valid Medical Examiner’s Certificate (DOT Physical).
- Minimum of 2 years of experience operating dump trucks or similar heavy equipment.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
- Physically fit and capable of lifting heavy objects and working in various weather conditions.
- Strong knowledge of local Fresno geography and road conditions.
