Responsibilities
- Safely operate dump trucks to transport construction materials, aggregates, and debris
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure compliance with safety standards
- Load/unload materials efficiently while maintaining site cleanliness and organization
- Accurately maintain trip logs, delivery tickets, and daily vehicle reports
- Adhere strictly to DOT regulations and local traffic laws
- Collaborate with site supervisors and team members for seamless operations
- Perform minor vehicle maintenance checks and report issues promptly
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) required
- Minimum 2 years verifiable dump truck operation experience
- Clean MVR with no major violations in past 3 years
- Ability to pass DOT physical and pre-employment drug screening
- Strong knowledge of Kansas City metro area and surrounding routes
- Physical ability to climb, lift (up to 50 lbs), and work in outdoor conditions
- Excellent time management and communication skills
- Willingness to work flexible hours including early mornings and weekends
