Responsibilities
- Operate dump trucks safely and efficiently to transport construction materials, debris, and aggregates to job sites
- Perform daily pre-trip inspections and post-trip vehicle documentation
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and route optimization for time-sensitive projects
- Adhere strictly to OSHA safety protocols and DOT regulations
- Collaborate with site supervisors for precise material unloading and placement
- Minor equipment troubleshooting and basic maintenance awareness
- Support emergency response operations during peak demand periods
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years verifiable dump truck operation experience
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and work in extreme weather conditions
- Pass DOT physical and drug screening requirements
- Basic knowledge of GPS navigation and route planning tools
- Strong communication skills for team coordination
- Flexibility to work nights, weekends, and overtime as needed
- Ability to obtain required site-specific certifications within 30 days
