Responsibilities
- Safely operate dump trucks and heavy equipment on construction sites and public roads
- Transport construction materials including gravel, sand, and asphalt to designated locations
- Perform daily pre-trip inspections and basic maintenance checks
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and paperwork for each haul
- Adhere strictly to DOT regulations and company safety protocols
- Coordinate with site supervisors to optimize delivery schedules
- Assist with minor equipment troubleshooting and reporting
Qualifications
- Valid Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with Hazmat endorsement preferred
- Minimum 2 years' experience operating dump trucks or heavy haul vehicles
- Clean driving record with no major violations in past 3 years
- Ability to pass pre-employment drug screening and background check
- Knowledge of Arizona traffic laws and construction site safety
- Physical ability to climb equipment and perform outdoor work in desert climate
- Basic equipment troubleshooting skills
- Flexibility to work early mornings and weekends as needed
