Responsibilities
- Safely operate dump trucks for material transport (dirt, gravel, asphalt) at construction sites
- Pre-trip/post-trip vehicle inspections and routine maintenance documentation
- Adhere strictly to DOT regulations, safety protocols, and route compliance
- Coordinate with foremen and dispatch teams for efficient load/delivery scheduling
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and paperwork for all transport activities
- Assist in site preparation and material handling when required
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years verifiable dump truck or heavy equipment operation experience
- Current DOT medical certification and ability to pass pre-employment drug screening
- Proficient in reading maps, using GPS navigation, and digital logging systems
- Strong understanding of weight distribution and securement procedures
- Ability to work in all weather conditions and flexible schedule (including weekends)
- Excellent communication skills and commitment to workplace safety
