Responsibilities
- Pick up and deliver packages and documents to residential and commercial locations within the designated Los Angeles area efficiently and in a timely manner.
- Verify the contents of packages against delivery receipts, ensuring accuracy and handling discrepancies immediately.
- Maintain a clean and organized delivery vehicle, conducting routine safety checks and minor maintenance before and after shifts.
- Interact professionally with customers, providing excellent service and resolving delivery issues or complaints with a positive attitude.
- Navigate effectively using GPS systems and road maps to find the most efficient routes, adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations.
- Handle cash or digital payments accurately and process returns or refunds as required by company policy.
Qualifications
- Valid Class C Driver's License with a clean driving record and no major traffic violations within the last 3 years.
- Ability to pass a comprehensive background check and drug screening.
- Physical stamina to lift and carry packages weighing up to 50-70 lbs repeatedly throughout the shift.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Reliable access to a personal vehicle (or willingness to be assigned a company vehicle) in good working condition.
- Basic computer skills for logging deliveries and updating tracking information.
