Responsibilities
- Safely Operate Vehicles: Drive delivery trucks to designated locations while adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations.
- Load and Unload Goods: Ensure accurate inventory counts and safely load/unload packages, handling items of varying weights.
- Customer Interaction: Deliver professional and friendly service to every customer, handling questions and complaints with a positive attitude.
- Vehicle Maintenance: Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure the vehicle is in optimal condition.
- Route Management: Follow assigned delivery routes efficiently to ensure on-time arrivals and maximize productivity.
- Documentation: Complete necessary delivery logs, receipts, and paperwork accurately and in a timely manner.
Qualifications
- Valid Driver's License: Must possess a valid Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) or equivalent.
- Driving Record: Clean driving record with no major violations in the past 3 years.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to lift, carry, and move packages weighing up to 50+ lbs repeatedly.
- Communication Skills: Excellent verbal communication skills with a professional demeanor.
- Availability: Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, and varying shifts as required.
- Technical Proficiency: Basic understanding of GPS navigation systems and mobile devices.
