Responsibilities
- Safely transport packages and goods to designated delivery locations throughout Oakland and surrounding areas.
- Provide excellent customer service by maintaining a professional demeanor and handling packages with care.
- Verify delivery information and obtain signatures when required to ensure accuracy.
- Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the delivery vehicle at all times.
- Complete daily logs and mileage reports accurately and on time.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and company safety protocols to ensure a secure work environment.
Qualifications
- Valid Class C Driver’s License with a clean driving record.
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Strong knowledge of the Oakland, CA geography and local traffic patterns.
- Ability to lift packages weighing up to 50 lbs repeatedly throughout the shift.
- Must possess a reliable smartphone capable of running our delivery management app.
- Basic math skills for cash handling and change management.
