Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A commercial vehicles on dedicated long-haul routes
- Adhere strictly to DOT regulations and company safety protocols
- Perform pre/post-trip inspections and maintain accurate vehicle logs
- Coordinate with dispatch team for efficient loading/unloading operations
- Ensure timely delivery of freight while maintaining route efficiency
- Communicate effectively with customers and dispatch regarding shipment status
- Maintain clean driving record and comply with all FMCSA requirements
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL with clean driving record (no major violations in past 3 years)
- Minimum 2 years of verifiable OTR driving experience
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Proficiency in electronic logging devices (ELD) and basic GPS navigation
- Strong time management and problem-solving skills
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and operate loading equipment
- Flexibility for occasional overnight trips and weekend work
- Excellent communication skills in English
