Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A commercial vehicles for long-haul routes across the continental US
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and comply with FMCSA regulations (HOS, DOT inspections)
- Inspect vehicles before/after trips to ensure mechanical safety and functionality
- Load/unload freight with precision and proper handling techniques
- Communicate effectively with dispatch regarding route status and delivery updates
- Build and maintain strong client relationships through professional conduct
- Adhere to all company safety protocols and defensive driving standards
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years verifiable OTR driving experience
- Pass DOT physical and drug screening requirements
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and operate loading equipment
- Strong navigation skills and familiarity with electronic logging devices (ELD)
- Flexible schedule availability including weekends and holidays
