Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial trucks on dedicated OTR routes between Washington, DC and key distribution centers
- Adhere to strict DOT regulations, HOS compliance, and pre/post-trip inspection protocols
- Maintain accurate delivery documentation and electronic logging system records
- Communicate proactively with dispatch regarding route conditions and delivery status
- Collaborate with warehouse teams for efficient loading/unloading operations
- Represent the company professionally in customer interactions at all delivery points
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL with clean driving record (no major violations in 3 years)
- Minimum 2 years verifiable OTR experience with dedicated route background
- Pass DOT physical and drug screening requirements
- Proficiency in using electronic logging devices (ELD) and GPS navigation systems
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and operate in varying weather conditions
- Strong communication skills and commitment to safety-first practices
