Responsibilities
- Safely transport freight between Pittsburgh distribution centers and nationwide destinations
- Adhere strictly to DOT regulations, HOS guidelines, and company safety protocols
- Perform thorough pre/post-trip inspections and maintain accurate vehicle documentation
- Utilize GPS tracking systems for route optimization and real-time delivery updates
- Build strong client relationships through professional communication and on-time performance
- Collaborate with dispatch team for efficient load planning and schedule adjustments
- Maintain clean driving record and comply with all state/federal transportation laws
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL with minimum 2 years OTR experience
- Clean MVR with no major violations in past 3 years
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and operate mechanical loading equipment
- Strong navigation skills with familiarity with 48-state logistics
- DOT medical certification and hazardous materials endorsement preferred
- Excellent time management and problem-solving abilities
- Flexible schedule availability including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Pass background check and drug screening requirements
