Responsibilities
- Operate Class A commercial vehicles for dedicated regional routes within California and the Western US
- Adhere strictly to DOT regulations and maintain accurate electronic logs
- Safely load/unload cargo with proper securing techniques
- Conduct pre/post-trip inspections and report maintenance needs
- Communicate proactively with dispatch regarding ETA and delivery status
- Maintain clean driving record and comply with all safety protocols
- Build strong relationships with warehouse staff at client locations
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL with clean driving record (no major violations in past 3 years)
- Minimum 2 years verifiable OTR experience
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Proficiency in electronic logging systems (e.g., Omnitracs, Samsara)
- Strong knowledge of cargo securement and weight distribution
- Excellent time management and problem-solving skills
- Ability to lift up to 50lbs occasionally
- Willingness to work flexible schedules including weekends
