Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A tractor-trailer units for dedicated regional routes
- Adhere to strict DOT regulations and company safety protocols
- Manage pre/post-trip inspections and maintain accurate logs
- Coordinate with dispatch team for efficient load delivery
- Build strong relationships with dedicated clients in the Durham region
- Utilize GPS technology for optimal route planning
- Maintain clean driving record and professional appearance
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL with minimum 2 years OTR experience
- Clean MVR with no major violations in past 3 years
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks
- Strong knowledge of DOT regulations and HOS compliance
- Experience with electronic logging devices (ELD)
- Ability to pass pre-employment drug screening and background check
- Excellent time management and communication skills
- Regional familiarity preferred (NC/SC/VA/TN)
