Responsibilities
- Safely and efficiently transport packages to designated residential and commercial addresses within the Wichita metro area.
- Perform thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety and compliance.
- Handle packages with the utmost care, ensuring they arrive in perfect condition.
- Interact professionally and politely with customers, answering questions and resolving delivery issues as they arise.
- Utilize handheld delivery devices to update status and route information in real-time.
- Maintain a clean and organized delivery vehicle at all times.
- Adhere to all traffic laws, safety regulations, and company policies.
Qualifications
- A valid Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) or a valid State Driver's License.
- A clean driving record with no major moving violations in the last 3 years.
- Ability to pass a comprehensive background check and drug screen.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently.
- Basic computer literacy and familiarity with smartphone/tablet applications.
- Physically capable of lifting packages weighing up to 50 lbs and standing for extended periods.
