Responsibilities
- Safe & Timely Delivery: Transport packages to designated addresses efficiently and ensure all deliveries are made within the agreed timeframe.
- Customer Interaction: Deliver packages with a professional demeanor, handling customer inquiries and collecting signatures as required.
- Vehicle Maintenance: Perform routine checks on the delivery vehicle, ensuring cleanliness and proper functioning of all equipment.
- Package Handling: Securely load, unload, and handle packages to prevent damage or loss during transit.
- Technology Utilization: Utilize company apps and GPS systems to track routes and update delivery status in real-time.
- Route Planning: Plan the most efficient routes to minimize travel time and fuel consumption.
Qualifications
- Valid License: Must possess a valid Class C Driver’s License and a clean driving record.
- Age Requirement: Minimum 21 years of age.
- Physical Fitness: Ability to lift and carry packages weighing up to 50 lbs repeatedly.
- Mobile Access: Must have a smartphone compatible with our delivery management software.
- Communication: Excellent verbal communication skills and a friendly attitude.
- Education: High school diploma or GED equivalent.
