Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial trucks and vans to deliver freight on-time and within company standards.
- Perform thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety compliance.
- Load and unload cargo using proper equipment and techniques to prevent damage.
- Maintain accurate electronic logs (ELD) and daily logs in compliance with DOT regulations.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery updates and potential delays.
- Adhere to all traffic laws, safety protocols, and company driving policies at all times.
- Keep the vehicle interior and exterior clean and organized.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) required.
- Must possess a clean driving record (no more than 2 moving violations in the last 3 years).
- Current DOT Medical Card and DOT drug screening clearance.
- Ability to pass a comprehensive background check.
- Strong understanding of safety regulations and traffic laws.
- Excellent customer service skills and communication abilities.
- Willingness to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays as needed.
