Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles to transport goods across designated routes
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure compliance with DOT regulations
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation for all shipments
- Communicate effectively with dispatch team regarding route updates and delivery status
- Adhere to strict safety protocols and defensive driving practices
- Manage time efficiently to meet delivery deadlines and customer expectations
- Collaborate with warehouse staff for efficient loading/unloading procedures
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) required
- Minimum 2 years of verifiable commercial driving experience
- Clean driving record with no major violations in past 3 years
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Familiarity with FMCSA regulations and logbook procedures
- Strong navigation skills and route planning abilities
- Physical ability to handle loading/unloading duties and long-haul schedules
- Excellent time management and communication skills
