Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles (Class A CDL) across Texas and Midwest routes
- Adhere to DOT regulations and safety protocols
- Conduct pre/post-trip inspections and maintain accurate logs
- Load/unload freight with proper handling techniques
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and clients
- Manage delivery schedules and timelines efficiently
- Represent Swift Logistics professionally at all client sites
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL license with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years verifiable commercial driving experience
- Pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Familiarity with Hazmat/Tanker endorsements preferred
- Strong knowledge of Texas and Illinois roadways
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly
- Flexibility for overnight trips (2-3 nights/week)
- Excellent time management and communication skills
