Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles (53' dry van reefers) on dedicated regional routes
- Perform pre/post-trip inspections and document maintenance logs
- Ensure timely delivery of temperature-sensitive freight to distribution centers
- Adhere strictly to DOT regulations and company safety protocols
- Utilize GPS technology for efficient route navigation and delivery tracking
- Collaborate with dispatch team for real-time load adjustments
- Maintain clean driving record and professional appearance
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL with clean driving record (no major violations in 3 years)
- Minimum 2 years verifiable OTR/Regional experience
- Current DOT medical certification and TWIC card preferred
- Ability to lift 50 lbs and operate loading equipment
- Strong knowledge of Tampa Bay area and Florida highway systems
- Pass background check and drug screening
- Excellent time management and communication skills
