Responsibilities
- Operate box trucks safely and efficiently on regional routes within Kansas and surrounding states
- Maintain accurate delivery records and electronic logs (ELD) in compliance with FMCSA regulations
- Perform pre-trip/post-trip inspections and basic preventative maintenance
- Coordinate with dispatch team for optimal load routing and on-time deliveries
- Ensure proper cargo handling and securement per DOT standards
- Communicate proactively with clients regarding delivery status and exceptions
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL with minimum 2 years box truck experience
- Clean MVR (no more than 2 moving violations in 3 years)
- Current DOT medical certification
- Reliable box truck (2010 or newer, 24-26ft preferred)
- Basic mechanical knowledge for minor roadside repairs
- Smartphone with data plan for mobile app communication
- Willingness to pass background check and drug screening
