Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles to deliver freight to designated stops in the Louisville metro area.
- Perform thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure compliance and safety.
- Load and unload trailers using forklifts or pallet jacks, ensuring cargo security.
- Verify delivery addresses and obtain necessary signatures from recipients.
- Maintain a professional appearance and clean driving record at all times.
- Handle customer inquiries professionally and resolve delivery issues promptly.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and company safety policies.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Class A or B is highly preferred.
- A clean driving record with no major violations in the last 3 years.
- Minimum of 1 year of commercial driving or route delivery experience is a plus.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand for extended periods.
- Strong knowledge of GPS navigation systems.
- Excellent communication skills and a customer-focused attitude.
- Must be willing to pass a background check and drug screening.
