Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial trucks and commercial motor vehicles in accordance with federal and state regulations.
- Load and unload cargo, ensuring all freight is secured properly for safe transport.
- Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure mechanical safety.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date electronic logging devices (ELD) and mileage logs.
- Adhere to strict delivery schedules and communicate delays to dispatch immediately.
- Uphold a professional image while representing our brand on the road and at customer sites.
- Perform routine vehicle cleaning and maintenance to ensure fleet standards.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) required.
- Must possess a clean driving record with no major violations within the last 3 years.
- Current Medical Examiner's Certificate (DOT Medical Card).
- Minimum of 2 years of verifiable driving experience in a commercial environment.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks associated with loading/unloading.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently.
- Willingness to pass a background check and drug screen.
