Responsibilities
- Operate commercial vehicles in a safe, legal, and professional manner to ensure on-time delivery of freight.
- Load and unload cargo, ensuring proper weight distribution and securing freight according to safety regulations.
- Maintain accurate electronic logging device (ELD) records and all required shipping documentation.
- Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to identify and report mechanical issues.
- Adhere strictly to all DOT regulations, company safety policies, and traffic laws.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch teams and customers regarding delivery schedules and any delays.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with a clean driving record.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of verifiable commercial driving experience.
- Ability to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical examination and drug screen.
- Strong knowledge of traffic laws, road safety, and GPS navigation systems.
- Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs, climb in and out of the cab, and stand for extended periods.
- Must be 21 years of age or older.
