Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial trucks and trailers over various routes and terrains.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure mechanical safety and compliance.
- Load and unload cargo securely using forklifts, pallet jacks, or hand tools.
- Maintain accurate daily logs and electronic logging device (ELD) records.
- Adhere to all DOT regulations, FMCSA rules, and company safety policies.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch, customers, and warehouse personnel.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL A) with a clean driving record.
- Minimum of 2 years of verifiable tractor-trailer driving experience.
- Ability to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical examination.
- Strong understanding of Hours of Service (HOS) regulations and traffic laws.
- Must be 21 years of age or older.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays if necessary.
