Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial Class A trucks in accordance with all federal and state regulations.
- Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure roadworthiness.
- Load and unload freight securely, ensuring cargo protection during transit.
- Maintain accurate electronic logging device (ELD) records and all required delivery documentation.
- Adhere to strict delivery schedules and communicate any delays effectively with dispatch.
- Uphold the highest standards of safety and customer service at all times.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Class A required.
- Must possess a clean driving record (MVR) with no serious traffic violations within the last 3 years.
- Minimum of 2 years of verifiable commercial driving experience preferred.
- Ability to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical examination.
- Basic math skills for toll and fuel calculations.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally during loading/unloading.
