Responsibilities
- Safely operate school buses on designated routes following strict safety protocols
- Conduct pre/post-trip inspections and maintain vehicle cleanliness
- Manage student behavior with professionalism and care
- Adhere to all traffic laws and district transportation policies
- Communicate effectively with parents, school staff, and dispatch
- Respond to emergencies and incidents according to training
Qualifications
- Valid Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with P/S endorsement
- Minimum 2 years professional driving experience
- Pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Child safety certification and first aid training
- Excellent driving record with no major violations
- Ability to lift 25 lbs and assist students with mobility needs
- Background clearance through state/federal requirements
