Responsibilities
- Safely transport students on designated routes adhering to strict schedules
- Conduct thorough pre/post-trip vehicle inspections and maintenance checks
- Implement student management protocols ensuring a positive bus environment
- Coordinate with school administrators and parents regarding transportation needs
- Maintain accurate trip logs and incident documentation
- Participate in ongoing safety training and certification programs
Qualifications
- Valid Nevada CDL with School Bus (S) and Passenger (P) endorsements
- Minimum 3 years commercial driving experience
- Clean MVR with no moving violations in past 3 years
- Pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Child CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Ability to lift 50 lbs and operate wheelchair lifts
- Exceptional communication and conflict resolution skills
