Responsibilities
- Safely transport students on designated routes following strict safety protocols
- Conduct pre-trip/post-trip inspections of school buses
- Maintain accurate attendance and incident reports
- Communicate professionally with parents, school staff, and dispatch
- Ensure student safety during loading/unloading and emergency procedures
- Adhere to all federal/state transportation regulations
- Maintain clean and orderly bus interiors
Qualifications
- Valid Texas Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with Passenger/School Bus endorsement
- Minimum 2 years professional driving experience
- Clean MVR with no major violations in past 3 years
- Pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Texas School Bus Certification or willingness to obtain
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work flexible hours (early mornings/afternoons)
- Background check clearance
