Responsibilities
- Safely transport K-12 students on assigned routes adhering to strict schedules
- Conduct pre/post-trip vehicle inspections and maintain detailed logs
- Implement student management protocols ensuring safety and discipline
- Communicate effectively with parents, school staff, and dispatch
- Adhere to federal/state transportation regulations (CDL Class B required)
- Respond to emergencies with calm professionalism
- Maintain clean, orderly bus interiors
Qualifications
- Valid California Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
- School Bus Endorsement and Passenger Transport Certificate
- Minimum 2 years professional driving experience
- Clear driving record and background check
- CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Ability to lift 50 lbs and assist students with mobility needs
- Fluent in English; bilingual Spanish a strong plus
