Responsibilities
- Transport time-sensitive medical specimens, lab samples, and documents to and from healthcare facilities within a designated route.
- Maintain strict adherence to HIPAA regulations and company safety protocols during every delivery.
- Inspect and maintain the cleanliness and proper functioning of the delivery vehicle.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and ensure punctual arrival at each destination.
- Handle sensitive materials with extreme care and professionalism.
- Update tracking systems and provide accurate delivery receipts to dispatch.
- Uphold a professional and friendly demeanor when interacting with medical staff and patients.
Qualifications
- Valid Class C Driver’s License with a clean driving record (no more than 2 moving violations in the last 3 years).
- Ability to lift and carry packages weighing up to 50 lbs repeatedly.
- Strong time management skills and the ability to work independently.
- Basic computer skills for logging delivery data.
- Reliable transportation with proof of insurance and registration.
- Flexibility to work early morning, late night, or weekend shifts as required.
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
