Responsibilities
- Safely and efficiently deliver packages, food, and goods to residential and commercial locations throughout Chicago
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation using our proprietary mobile tracking system
- Provide exceptional customer service through timely communication and professional interactions
- Conduct pre-trip vehicle inspections and ensure timely maintenance reporting
- Optimize delivery routes to maximize efficiency and minimize fuel consumption
- Handle cash transactions and payment processing for COD deliveries
- Adhere strictly to traffic laws, safety protocols, and company policies
Qualifications
- Valid Illinois driver's license with clean driving record (no major violations in past 3 years)
- Minimum 1 year of professional driving or delivery experience
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds repeatedly and operate in various weather conditions
- Strong navigation skills with familiarity of Chicago neighborhoods and traffic patterns
- Smartphone proficiency for delivery app usage and communication
- Reliable personal vehicle (or willingness to use company-provided vehicle)
- Excellent time management and problem-solving abilities
