Responsibilities
- Operate commercial trucks (Class A CDL) safely and efficiently to deliver freight to designated locations.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure compliance and safety standards.
- Load and unload cargo, ensuring proper securement and handling of goods.
- Maintain accurate electronic logging device (ELD) records and delivery paperwork.
- Adhere to all traffic laws, company policies, and DOT regulations.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery status and any delays.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) issued by the state of Nebraska.
- Minimum of 21 years of age.
- Minimum of 2 years of verifiable commercial driving experience.
- Clean driving record (MVR) with no serious violations in the past 3 years.
- Ability to pass a comprehensive background check and drug screen.
- Physically capable of meeting DOT requirements (lifting, climbing, sitting for long periods).
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently.
