Responsibilities
Safely operate commercial Class A trucks to transport freight across Nevada and neighboring states.Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure compliance with DOT regulations.Load and unload cargo securely, utilizing forklifts and material handling equipment.Maintain accurate logs (DVIR) and electronic logging devices (ELD) throughout the shift.Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers to resolve delivery issues and optimize routes.Adhere to all safety protocols and traffic laws to ensure a zero-accident record.Keep the cabin and cargo area clean and organized at all times.
Qualifications
Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with a clean driving record.Minimum of 2 years of verifiable over-the-road (OTR) or regional driving experience.Ability to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical exam and drug screening.Strong understanding of HM-126F hazardous materials regulations (if applicable).Excellent time management skills and the ability to meet strict delivery deadlines.Physical stamina to lift up to 50 lbs and handle cargo manually.Proficient in using handheld devices and navigation systems.
