Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A commercial vehicles for long-haul and regional freight transport
- Adhere to DOT regulations and maintain meticulous logbooks and vehicle inspection reports
- Load/unload freight securely using proper equipment and techniques
- Plan efficient routes while meeting strict delivery deadlines
- Communicate professionally with dispatch, clients, and warehouse personnel
- Maintain clean driving record and uphold company safety standards
- Perform preventative vehicle maintenance checks and report issues promptly
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years of verifiable tractor-trailer experience
- Strong knowledge of DOT regulations and safety protocols
- Ability to lift up to 70 lbs and operate loading equipment
- Flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Pass pre-employment drug screening and background check
- Proficient in electronic logging devices (ELD) and route navigation
- Excellent time management and problem-solving skills
