Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class-A tractor-trailers on long-haul routes across Texas and surrounding states
- Load/unload freight with precision, ensuring compliance with safety protocols
- Maintain accurate delivery documentation and electronic logs (ELD)
- Conduct pre/post-trip inspections and report maintenance needs promptly
- Coordinate with dispatch to optimize routes and meet delivery deadlines
- Represent our company professionally with exceptional customer service
Qualifications
- Valid Class-A CDL with clean driving record (no major violations in 3 years)
- Minimum 2 years verifiable tractor-trailer experience
- Ability to lift up to 75 lbs and operate loading equipment
- Strong knowledge of FMCSA regulations and hazmat handling (certification preferred)
- Flexibility for overnight trips and weekend schedules as needed
- Pass background check and drug screening
- GPS navigation proficiency and smartphone literacy
