Responsibilities
- Safely operate heavy dump trucks on various job sites, including residential, commercial, and industrial locations in Orange County.
- Load and unload materials (sand, gravel, dirt, asphalt) efficiently and securely using proper equipment.
- Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure mechanical safety and compliance.
- Maintain accurate logs of driving hours (ELD) and delivery documentation in compliance with DOT regulations.
- Adhere strictly to all traffic laws, company safety protocols, and environmental regulations.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and site supervisors regarding job status and route changes.
- Keep the cab and truck interior clean and organized at all times.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with a Tanker endorsement.
- Minimum of 2 years of verifiable experience driving dump trucks or hauling heavy loads.
- Current Medical Examiner's Certificate (DOT Physical).
- Strong knowledge of local roadways and traffic patterns in the Irvine/Southern California area.
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs repeatedly and perform physical labor in various weather conditions.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and a commitment to zero accidents.
- Must pass a background check and drug screening.
