Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A dump trucks for material transport to construction sites
- Conduct pre/post-trip inspections and maintain accurate DOT compliance logs
- Coordinate with dispatch teams for efficient route planning and delivery scheduling
- Load/unload materials using proper equipment and safety protocols
- Perform basic preventative maintenance checks and report mechanical issues
- Adhere strictly to federal/state regulations and company safety policies
- Assist in site preparation and material management as needed
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with clean MVR
- Minimum 3 years dump truck operation experience
- Ability to pass DOT physical and random drug screenings
- Proficiency in electronic logging devices (ELD) and GPS navigation
- Strong knowledge of local traffic laws and construction zones
- Physical capability to handle manual labor in varying weather conditions
- Excellent communication and time management skills
