Responsibilities
- Safely operate dump trucks for material transport across construction sites
- Perform daily vehicle inspections and pre/post-trip documentation
- Maintain strict adherence to DOT regulations and safety protocols
- Coordinate with dispatch team for efficient route optimization
- Manage loading/unloading operations with precision
- Report maintenance issues and coordinate vehicle servicing
- Maintain clean driving record and comply with all traffic laws
Qualifications
- Valid CDL Class A license with clean driving record
- Minimum 3 years commercial dump truck experience
- OSHA 10-hour construction certification preferred
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Knowledge of local Jersey City/NYC area routes
- Heavy equipment operation experience (backhoe/dozer a plus)
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work in all weather conditions
