Responsibilities
- Safely operate dump trucks for material transport at construction sites and quarries
- Perform pre/post-trip inspections and maintain accurate vehicle logs
- Adhere to DOT regulations and company safety protocols
- Coordinate with dispatchers for efficient route planning and on-time deliveries
- Assist with minor equipment maintenance and troubleshooting
- Load/unload materials using proper techniques and equipment
- Document daily operations and maintain compliance records
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years' experience operating dump trucks in commercial settings
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Strong knowledge of Dallas/Fort Worth metro area traffic patterns
- Experience with GPS navigation and electronic logging devices
- Physical ability to handle heavy materials and variable weather conditions
- Excellent time management and communication skills
- Must pass background check and reference verification
