Responsibilities
- Safely operate dump trucks and heavy equipment for material transport and construction projects
- Conduct pre/post-trip inspections and adhere to FMCSA safety regulations
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation of materials transported
- Collaborate with site supervisors and logistics teams for efficient route planning
- Perform minor equipment maintenance and report mechanical issues promptly
- Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal transportation laws
- Support emergency response operations during severe weather events
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with tanker endorsement
- Minimum 3 years of dump truck operation experience
- Clean MVR with no major violations in the past 3 years
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Familiarity with Corpus Christi and surrounding area routes
- Strong attention to safety protocols and hazard awareness
- Basic mechanical knowledge for troubleshooting equipment issues
- Ability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
