Responsibilities
- Safely operate dump trucks and hauling equipment on construction sites
- Transport materials (dirt, asphalt, gravel) to designated locations
- Pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections and maintenance reports
- Adhere strictly to safety protocols and DOT regulations
- Coordinate with site supervisors and dispatch teams
- Maintain accurate delivery documentation and logs
- Support emergency response operations during weather events
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
- Minimum 2 years of dump truck experience
- Clean driving record (no DUIs in past 5 years)
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and work in extreme weather
- DOT medical certification and drug screening clearance
- Familiarity with Bakersfield/Kern County terrain
- Basic equipment troubleshooting knowledge
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
