Responsibilities
- Safely operate dump trucks to transport construction materials, debris, and aggregates across job sites
- Conduct pre-trip inspections and perform routine vehicle maintenance checks
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation of materials transported
- Adhere strictly to DOT regulations and safety protocols at all times
- Coordinate with site supervisors and team members for efficient load/unload operations
- Manage route planning to ensure timely deliveries while optimizing fuel efficiency
- Operate specialized equipment including belly dumps, end dumps, and transfer trailers
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years commercial dump truck experience
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Familiarity with construction site safety standards
- Strong navigation skills in the Indianapolis metropolitan area
- Physical capability to handle heavy equipment and outdoor conditions
- Basic mechanical knowledge for troubleshooting minor issues
- Excellent time management and communication skills
