Responsibilities
- Safely operate dump trucks for material transport (gravel, sand, asphalt)
- Conduct pre-trip/post-trip inspections and maintain vehicle logs
- Adhere to DOT regulations and safety protocols
- Coordinate with dispatch for efficient route optimization
- Load/unload materials at construction sites and quarries
- Maintain clean, compliant vehicles and report maintenance needs
- Assist in site-specific material handling when required
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years dump truck experience
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and work in outdoor conditions
- Knowledge of Virginia traffic laws and construction zones
- DOT medical certification and hazmat endorsement preferred
- Strong spatial awareness and maneuvering skills
- Reliable transportation and punctuality
- Pass background/drug screening
