Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A dump trucks for material transport (dirt, gravel, asphalt)
- Conduct pre/post-trip inspections and maintain accurate DOT logs
- Load/unload materials at construction sites using hydraulic controls
- Adhere to strict safety protocols and traffic regulations
- Coordinate with dispatch and site supervisors for timely deliveries
- Perform minor equipment troubleshooting and basic maintenance
- Maintain clean driving record and comply with FMCSA regulations
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL with clean driving record (no DUIs in past 5 years)
- Minimum 3 years commercial dump truck experience
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Proficient in electronic logging devices (ELD) systems
- Strong knowledge of construction site safety procedures
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and work in varying weather conditions
- Excellent time management and route navigation skills
- High school diploma or equivalent required
