Responsibilities
- Safely operate dump trucks and related equipment to transport construction materials, debris, and aggregates
- Perform pre-trip inspections and ensure vehicle compliance with DOT regulations
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation for all hauls
- Collaborate with site supervisors to coordinate efficient loading/unloading operations
- Adhere to strict safety protocols and maintain clean driving record
- Assist with basic maintenance and report vehicle issues promptly
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or B Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
- Minimum 2 years of dump truck operation experience
- Clean driving record with no major violations in past 3 years
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in various weather conditions
- DOT medical certification and required endorsements
- Strong knowledge of San Diego County roadways and construction sites
