Responsibilities
- Safely operate dump trucks and heavy equipment on construction sites and public roads
- Transport construction materials (dirt, gravel, asphalt) to designated locations
- Perform pre-trip inspections and basic maintenance checks
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and compliance documentation
- Adhere strictly to DOT regulations and company safety protocols
- Collaborate with site supervisors and logistics coordinators
- Operate in various weather conditions and terrains
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years commercial dump truck experience
- Ability to obtain Hazmat endorsement within 30 days
- Pass background check and drug screening
- Knowledge of San Diego County routes and construction sites
- Physical ability to operate heavy equipment in all conditions
- Strong communication and time management skills
- OSHA 10-hour certification preferred
